Research projects at Cooper University Health Care (\u201cCUHC\u201d) that are funded by an agency of the Public Health Service (PHS), such as the National Institutes of Health, must ensure public access to certain information about conflicts of interest that have been disclosed to CUHC and reported to the funding agency. U.S. regulations, \u00a750.604, allow anyone to request information about a conflict of interest held by senior or key personnel on a PHS-funded research project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
By extension, CUHC policy allows anyone to request information about a conflict of interest held by senior or key personnel on non-PHS funded research projects, including industry funded clinical trials. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

CUHC will not assign a dollar value to a significant financial interest but rather state that it exceeds the de minimis amount of $5,000 during a twelve-month period. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
